AAA to Celebrate “Member Appreciation Day” in Sioux Falls

Special Sept. 12 event will feature giveaways and refreshments,

plus free vehicle inspections and child car seat checks.

NEWS from AAA South Dakota, Sept. 4 – AAA South Dakota will host their Member Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon at the AAA office located at 1300 Industrial Ave., in Sioux Falls. The event is free and open to AAA members and anyone who would like to become a member.

“This special day is our way of saying thank you to our great South Dakota members for their support and loyalty over the years,” said Mark Madeja, spokesman for AAA South Dakota. “We’ll have free gifts, popcorn, cookies, water, coffee and root beer, plus prize drawings, special guests and some very good deals on travel and insurance.”

The first 50 AAA members who arrive will receive a free deluxe AAA ice scraper and brush and every member will receive a gift bag filled with presents, samples and offers from some of AAA’s favorite discount partners, many of whom will be there.

Door prizes will be given away including iPods, gift baskets and gift certificates from merchants such as FTD.com, Payless ShoeSource and Best Western.

“And everyone who attends is encouraged to sign up to win our grand prize of $1,000 to go towards a vacation getaway booked through AAA Travel,” said Madeja.

Auto technicians will be on hand to conduct free car care inspections to help motorists make sure their vehicles are ready for winter. And certified child car seat installers will perform free car seat checks. National Child Passenger Safety Week starts Sept. 12. Make sure your youngsters are as safe as they can be.

During the morning, AAA will be offering half-price membership upgrades on AAA Plus and Premier memberships – and anyone who receives a free insurance quote will also receive a $10.00 Target gift card.
