Roadside Emergency Kit
Taking care of your car is important, but taking care of yourself should an emergency arise is even more vital. To be a prepared driver, always carry your AAA membership card, and equip your vehicle with an emergency kit that contains some or all the following items:
- Flashlight with extra batteries
- Road flares or reflective triangles
- Jumper cables
- Cell phone / with extra batteries
- General first aid kit / Medications you need regularly
- Rags or paper towels
- Wiper blades / light bulbs / hoses / belts
- Gallon jug of water / bottled water
- Non-perishable food items
- Blanket and extra set of warm clothes
- Winter formula window washer solvent
- De-icer for door locks
- Non-clumping kitty litter / traction sand
- Ice-scraper, snow brush and snow shovel
- Tire chains
- Extra car fuses
- Basic tool set
- Waterproof matches and emergency candles
- Roll of duct tape
- Cutting device (box cutter / pocket knife)
